1. The radio station in Krasnoye Selo (59?11.3tN/3000918), Leningrad Oblast, was west
of the railroad station and connected to the station by a road passing; the church.(1)
In a semi-circle around the radio station were about 3,000 radio towers, some 32
meters tall and some 16 meter:, high. These towers were connected by cage aerials,
50 meters long. Smaller masts carrying copper cables radiated from.the radio
station. (2)
The radio station itself had a three-story central section and an annex. Several
rooms with inlaid floors were located in the side wings of the main building ~7LIB
cable trenches, which were about 50 centimeters wide and 40 centimeters deep.

The barracks near the radio station were occupied by ai? force personnel, allegedly
belonging to the airfield, and one army company and one navy company, both units
with forked lightning insignia on their uniforms. (4) Soviet laborers said that
the radio station belonged to the. airfield. electricians and fitters from Lenin-
grad where housed in the one-story wooden buildings near the radio station.

section by antenna wires. MVD labor battalions were stationed in the northern area
in two or three plastered four-story buildings, called KS-29 in the. FIJ carlp. The

1. Technical office, whose main section was 50x 20 meters. The building, had a..
side wine, 1S meters long, and a small tower, 4 meters high.
2. Generating station, using Diesel fuel. The building, 16 x 12 reters, was con-
structe'd from May to September 1949. The station had three roor. s, and a
crane trc7ley ran through the entire building..
