1. The Molotov Plant in D-REPdOPETROVSK (34059' E/48?27' N), Ukrai-
niah SS.f, is on the southern bank of the Dnepr River, north
of the railroad line to DVEPROBZERZHIII6K and about 1.2 miles
west of the large railroad bridge. East of the Molotov Plant
there is a steel mill :1lith a locomotive facbry on the east.
2. Plant Installations:
The plant, in existence for a long time, is a sister plant of the
DIIEPRODZEiZHI]SK rail mill. Half of the plant was destroyed in
the wary 1{econst-ruction work started in 1944 and is continuing.
A lar :e section of the plant is in operation and strictly off
limits to PWs. Pats were clearing.; the debris and excavating sites
for new workshops in the eastern section of the plant. For lay-
out of the three sections of the plant see Annex.
3. 'Bork Force:
ueven to ei'ht hundred Pds working in three shifts in the east
ern section of the plant. The number of workers in the western
section is unknown.
Comment:
a. From the roughly drawn attached sketch which shows the
.;l.?: ht bend of the Dnepr River to the north of the plant and
the road fork. to the southeast of the plant it is concluded that
the Molotov Plant is a plant previously designated Lenin Plant
(-compare; object 10 of military map dated Ceotember 1941):
