Location: The Stalin Tank and Tractor Plant is three to four. miles east of the town center of CHELYAI3INSK (61?25'E/55910'N), Chelyabinsk Oblast, at the end of a broad asphalt road with a double track streetcar line which terminates in a loop at the an date of the plant. 2. Installations: The plant covers an area of about 1,500 acres. The layout of the plant is characterized by the arrangement of the three large. workshops for the production of engines, of tractors, and a third shop which is under construction.
