4. The airfield, about GOOz2,0GO meters, was about
15 km northwest of Tuapee, west of the road to
NNovorosisk (37?459 E/44?43r N)$, along the shore,
about 2 &r southeast of Qlginskaaa There were
no runway's, hangars or quartere.
5,, one to' several fighters occasionally landed at the
field and took off again after a short stay
6. The airf ield, lxl-uL krri, was about 1.2 km northeast of
Tuapse, about 300 meters east of the rilroad line a
No runways or building, were seen. A pipe line,
20 cm in diameter and i} meters above the ground'
led from the double-track railroad line to the south-
west corner of the field, Where a radio truck and
a mast with a windoone. were seen,,.:

engine
4 to 5 twin'engine aircraft with in-line engine
and double rudder assembly
Another airfield was assumed to be about 9km north-
east of Tuapse, south of a small railroad station.
Thirty single-engine fighters with ih-line engine
were seen taking off, gathering at an altitude of
500 meters and proceeding in squadron formation
(three squadrons and one flight, oz behind the
other).*
