1. The Soviet Zone hard coal tar production is ab ut 32,000 tons per
year. I1oviever the Soviet Zone hard coal tar requirements amount
to at least 200 000 tons per year. The production of roofing felt
alone requires 120,000 tons of. coal tai', and tgbout 30,000 tons
are needed for production of tar for roads.
2. The Soviet Zane of Germany is attempting to import hard coal tar.
