1. The Chinese Communist 65 Army, considered the strongest Chinese Communist
force'on the line, is in the Kaesong area,
2. The. 194 Division is responsible for the defense of neutral zones in Kaesong
city. The strength is about 9,000. Troops are equipped with United States
M-1 rifles or Russian rifles and five hand grenades each. Other equipment
includes 10 direct projecting guns, 12 mortars, 10 anti-aircraft guns,
15 x 105-mm. cannons, and 60 heavy and light machine guns.
The 193 Division is assigned the defense of Korangpo'ri (126-50, 37-59) (CT.-1006)
and the west central battle front areas. The approximate strength is 7,000.
Heavy weapons are the same as the 194 Division. The 193 Division has suffered the
most damage and casualties in the 65 Amy,,
The 195 Division is-responsible for the defense of the western coast at
Kaep'ung-gun (126-28, 37-55) (BS-7799). The approximate strength is 8,000,
The equipment is the same as the 194 Division with 10 additional anti-aircraft
guns, .
