Route No. 61: The T?axna.si-Tjjdorbcvr r ree tion of t r.is read, which i s repaired
at the beginning of June, ha s once again become: inoperative. The surface was
not ,.ble to withstand the continuous passage of heavy Soviet materiel? Since
15 August 1951 special prisoner brie .des have worked there under the supervision
of the AVII. A Soviet inspection tear has na.de en unfavorable report on the
progress of the work. The.Ninist of ltiar der.;axaded vhrzt the work be completed
by 1 September, but in view of the sl(nr progress the construction could not be
finishe7 before 20 September.
2< Route No. 512: (Gerjen--Tolna) The ropa..pr work and widening of this road ryas
completed at the beginning of P u, .st. It now has a uniform width of 7 meters.
The two bridges, spanning the small s%ratan-e, Lave also been enlarged to a width
of seven meters.
3. Route No. 612: (Sze?ktszarddBonyhad )_- The widening of this highway from seven
to eight meters was completed on 3 Aug it,,
4. Route Nov 63: (Batssze Goa rhsd?~Isr p;o sslc~F~e.s l .,- The stretches between taszek
and Sonyhad and between "-1.gacs aanfi K,n.poj B2,ekes have been reconstructed and
enl rged. The rest of the highway is wider repair. This road is exclusively
used by Soviet .&ray farces. Civilian trnffi e is restricted, and controlled by
Soviet police dressed in civilian oloth' .'
