Auth.: HR 10-2 SUPPLEMENT TO REPORT NO. 25X1X 1. On 26 December 1951 seven Soviet planes and on 27 December nine Soviet planes landed at Nanyuan Airfield from Mukden. On 27 December, 97 Soviet planes, mostly MIG's, were at Nanyuan Airfield. The crews from these planes were housed at Vai Chi Chang ( x ) Club under the care of Chinese Communist colonels. On 26 or 27 December LI K'o-nung visited the club. 2. By the first week of December, the Chinese Communists had transferred all air force (sic) in Shanghai,, Hankow, Hangchow, Nanking, and Hsuchou to Tahushan (122-07, 41-38). 3. Before 8 a.m. every morning, Soviet planes practice formation flying over Peiping.
