Southeast of Azerzhinsk, south of the railroad line to Gorki, West
of all chemical plants of Dzerzhinsk-Igumnovo (43?38'E/56?14'N),
Gorki Oblast.
'l'he plant was not damaged eluting the war. Because of many new con-
structions the plant area is difficult to survey and the plant lay
does not cover all the buildings. Power was supplied by a large
power plant farther to the east.
3. Work force:
About 1,000 laborers including 600 women working three shifts.
4. Production:
Phosphorus, hydrochloric acid, carbide, calcium chloride, soda.

The plant layout is difficult to survey and to reproduce because
of the many new constructions and the gteat number of small
plant buildings. Therefore all information received on post-
war enlargements at the Kalinin Chemical Plant is incomplete.
The above report, though old, is forwarded as the attached sketch
gives the arrangement of the various plant installations and reflects
the production process. The data require confirmation.
