THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1. The 60 Infantry Division is stationed in Maribor. The 4 Infantry Regiment,
which is a. component of the 60 Infantry Division, and is dependent upon the
11/30 Infantry Division of Varazdin, also has its headquarters in Maribor.l

2. The 252 Tank Brigade is located at Obrenovac.2
Nis
The 211 Tank Brigade, composed of some 1,000 men, and equipped with 30 tanks,
the majority of them T-34 tanks, is located in Nis.3 The 211 Tank Brigade
comprises the following units;
a. Three tank battalions;
b. One assault battalion; and
c. One antitank battalion equipped with German cannon.
1. Comment: This confirms information furnished in reports of
other United States Government Agencies of May and August 1951.
Comments This Brigade is presumably identical with the un-

THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1. The 15 Rifle Division, under the command of Colonel Nikola Strugar, has its
headquarters in an old barracks building located in Tuzla, Bosnia. The following
military units are components of the 15 Rifle Division:
a. Two unspecified rifle regiments;
b. One unidentified artillery regiment;
c. An unspecified antitank battalion;
d. An unidentified engineer battalion;
e. An unspecified liaison battalion;
f. An unidentified transport company, which is equipped with more than
100 motor trucks of American make; and
A chemical warfare unit.
2. One of the above rifle regiments and the artillery regiment are billeted in new
barracks, north of the city of Tuzla, while the other rifle regiment is'stationed
in Bijeljina, 50 kilometers northeast of Tuhla. This latter rifle regiment has a
school for noncommissioned officers.
3.
The rifle regiment which is stationed just north of Tuzla,and is some 100 men strong,
is composed of the following military units:
a. Three unspecified rifle battalions;

Each battalion is composed of three rifle companieq and one machine-gun company,
The artillery regiment of the 15 Rifle Division is equipped with more than 30 cannon
of Russian and German type. The majority of motor trucks used by the transport
company belong to this artillery regiment.
A small unidentified antiaircraft artillery unit and a large cavalry unite possibly
a regiment, are also stationed in Tuzla.

6. Food is very poor in the 15 Rifle Division; the men subsist on a diet of cabbage
and beans. Ordnance equipment is fairly good,, but the vehicles used by the Division
are in poor condition.
