(LISTED BELOW) SUPPLEMENT TO REPORT NO. 25X1X The D n cr tic Republic of Vietnam (DRV) dispatched a.group of high-ranking cadres to South Vietnam on 5 December 1951 for the purpose of reorganizing military and administrative organizations in that area. These persons were assisted, by the South Vietnam Labor Party Cnittee and. the South Vietnam Pge less Army Headquarters(sic). Their accomplishments u ".r p to.10 January e as follows; 960 troop.cadres of company grade or higher were relieved from duties and transferred to Central and North Vietnam for training. Over 20600 customs officers and officers in various finRncial organizations were relieved. of their duties and transferred for training. over 11-20 officers. of various administrative committees and admin- istrative organizations were dismissed and over 190 were t a fe d , r ns rre for training. Designations for 14 guerrilla companies were celled, and 11.1 9Lxerrilla companies were reorganized.
