1. A total of about 900 troops of a mechanized division from Cottbus detrained
from five trains at Weisswasser between 14 and 26 February. About four tanks,
22 x 76.2 mm artillery pieces, eight heavy mortars and 40 trucks were included
in the equipment.
2. A train carrying troops and about six T-34 tanks was seen moving from the
direction of Eberswalde toward Templin on 25 February.
3. Three troop trains passing through the Friedrichsfelde railroad station
toward Templin between 24 and 26 February consisted of a total of 100 boxcars
and flatcars. Some of the flatcars were covered with canvas. The materiel
observed on the trains included trucks and three heavy tanks of the 6th Guards
Mechanized Division.
4. A train carrying AAA troops land seven 80 mm guns left
.Fuerstenwalde toward Beeskow via Frankfurt Oder on 27 February.*
