THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
At the present time communication between Lang Son and Tien Yen
21-19)is being maintained by truck cagVOys armed with anti-aircraft guns.
The 28 Regiment of the Lien Quan.Bien Canhl is in charge of these convoys
aich.operate only at night and since January 1952 have operated almost
every night...
The journey is divided into three stages. from Tien Yen to Dinh Lap
(107-05; 21-32) from Dinh Lap to Loc Binh (i06-54; 21.1+3) and from
Lcc Binh to Lang Son. At.each stopping point the trucks are hidden
ii underground garages which keep a supply of gasoline and tires...
The main repair. shop for all of North Vietnam is located at Ky Lua
(iO6-' 5; 21-51) which is also a central distributing point There
are about 150 workmen employed at this repair shop,, two thirds of
whom are Chinese. Vu )1tnh Thuong is the director, Huynh Van Lamm is
the assistant director and CH'EN Liu you ( % j) and Huang Pai
/lie ) are the. Chinese advisors.
Comment. The existence of the Lien Quern Bien Canh has
never been established..;
