No vehicular tra c was observed in Zehdenick prior to 3 Marche 50X1-HUM An undetermined number of troop trains, coming from the direction of Loewenberg and proceeding toward Templin passed through Zehdenick between 23 and 29 February. Three trains with 87 boxcars and 70 flatcars, allegedly carrying units from Oran.ienbur?g, were observed on 29 Februarys he Zehdenick - Military convoys were observed in the Rutenberg-Lychen (N54/U72) area from 26 February to 4 March. Most of the vehicles belonged to the, 9th Guards Tank Division and some to the headquarters units and the 31st AAA Division of the Second Guards Mechanized Army. . A series of road and rail movements of troops through Rosslau toward Dessau began on 3 March. Most of the vehicle _Jbelonged to the 7th 50X1-HUM Guards Tank Division, while one belonged to the 6th Guards Tank Division. These included a train with a component of the 207th Motorized Rifle Division leaving Koethen toward Halle, and. two trains carrying unidentified units on the Bitterfeld-Halle and Halle-Leipzig lines respectively. Troops with five T-34 tanks and 14 trucks were loaded on a train in Hillersleben 10 March. The train left in the direction of Magdeburg. Three vehicle pj belonged. to the 7th Guards Tank Division and one to the 19th Mechanized Division.* Comment; There is no direct indication that the movement of entire isions to troop training grounds for the execution of summer training had prior to about 10 March.
