1. For the Dunal5entele (Sztalinvaros) steel plant four furnaces of 500 tons each
are planned.. These big furnaces are supposed to produce steel more economically
than the furnaces now in use elsewhere in Hungary. These latter use generally
1.15 tons of coke tp a ton of iron ore. The new furnaces are expected to use
0.87 tons of coke to one of iron ore.
2. For the production of the steel itself six Martin furnaces will be built, each
with a capacity of 200 tons. There will be also smaller Martin or electric
furnaces for the production of quality steel.
3. The electric power plant at Dunapentele will have six boilers and three steam
turbines, having each a capacity of 21,Q00 kw. The total capacity of the
power plant will be 63,000 kv. The turbines are bf the bleeder type.
