Between 11:20 a.m. and 1:30 p.n. on 2 February 1952, Koethen airfield was observed from it;3 eastern side and northwestern corner, Three jet fighters covered with tarpaul:Lns wore parked at the runway Q The rudder aseemblics of two jot fighters were ob; orved in the partially open hangar north of the field., Three jet fighters and one si ._,le-engine trainer with a ra,?ial engine and long cockpit were identified in the ,southern hangar which was open. It appeared that other aircraft were also 25X1 parked in this hangar. Thec runway was covered with a thin lad; er of bard snow. There was no : ayin g. the visibility was good.
