were seen receiving field training in the area north of the garages. aometimee
they wore gas masko. Other troope were observed practicing at the field with 2
or 3 .tanks, while still other troops practiced aiming with 4 x 76.2-nm AT euns.
Numerous trucks were seen in several garages. T-34/85 tanks
drove. intc the Panzertruopenschule on 22 January. Tanks which were detrained at
the euensdorf railroad station during the night of 31 January incledod three
T-34 tank e which were till observed at the railroad station on the morning of
31 January arid stalding in front of building No 56 in the afternoen of the same

schule started making 110 woaden blocks for piston recoil mechanisn. for gun
barrels which weighed not less than two tons and allegedly hod a caliber of
150-mm.1 The buildines around the large repair shop at building :To 56 incierleal:
building No 50, where motorcycles were assembled; building No 57, containing
supely roems and a cafeteria for'Jarman employees; and building no 66 serving
as metal-torkine shop and containing 12 large screw-cutting lathes and 3 'ergo
boring-and-tit:aline' mills. a new workshop was noticed in the workshop area, and
it seemed that the railroad spur under construction would terminate at this now
workshop. The amaunition dime in the northwestern section of the billeting, area

On 2 February, the Lutz Kaserne on the east side of Hiahway No 96 was occupied by
