1. The construction of the K XX airfield, which is .located. at Popkovice (051/M78)
near Pardubice (051/M79), was begun on 1. October 1951.'X Work has been :nterruptea
since November 1951, but it is expected that the field will be completed by June
1952. As a result of the enlarging of the airfield., a part of the Pardubice
Chrudim (051/M78) railroad line has to be re-routed, and two brooks which flow
near the field will have to be diverted. 1 g. Mojmir Kalous, who was the con-
struction manager of the K X airfield at Line (N50/P931 is replacing Zdenek
Veverka, who is suffering from blood poisoning, as construction manager of'X C.
.2. The K X airfield at Line has been completed, except for removing the excavated
dirt and seeding the area around the field.
3. The K XI airfield at ITradcany near Doksy (051/F84) has been completed.**
4. The reconstruction and enlargement of the civilian airfield at Ruzyne near Prague,
which is under the supervision of the Posista firm,*-X* Is to be finished by June
1952.
5. The Kbely (051/L89) airfield near Prague., which is presently undergoing remodeling,
should also be ready for use by June 1952. The runway will be lengthened to 2,500 in.
and additional taxiing space will be provided.
6. The Vsechov (o51/L91) airfield near. Tabor was built between the two World Wars.
During World War II, the Germans did not use the field, but dismantled the
buildings, leaving only b gar skeletons. After the wan, the field was used
safely for glider traffic by private individuals. The field was surveyed in
December x-951, and construction is scheduled to begin it the spring of 1952 and
should be finished by December 1952. The runways w be 2,500 in. long and 80-m.
wide. The taxi area-will be about 250 m., from- the runway and will be 16 m. wide.
The total concrete area is estimated to be 26O,,OO0 sgam.., while the concrete side
area (sic) covers an area of 11,700 square m.

Ruzyne near Prague
Hradcany near Doksy
Pardubice
Ceske Budejovice (Plana-Homole) (0l+5/Q96)
Mirovice (N50/L52) near Pisek
Line near Pilsen
Vsechov near Tabor
2,atec (N51/F10) ,
All of these airfields were built by the Czechoslovak Construction Works (CSSZ:),
with the exception of the Ruzyne field, which was built by Posista, and the Zatec
field, which was built by Armastave 25X1
