1. During August 1951 "the unit personnel" of 8 and 11 Infantry Regiments
stationed at Sliven were transferred to Karnobat.

There are ammunition depots located south of Sliven along the Stara Zagora
Sliven highway.
5 There are approximately 10 gunpowder depots, each eight to ten meters-long
and four to eight meters wide, located. . east. of Sliven along the Sliven - Burgas
highway. These depots are under constant military guard.
6.4 There are approximately 40 to 50 underground gas tanks, 15 ton capacity each,
located east of Sliven approximately one kilometer from the gunpowder depots.
