In addition.to the regular curriculum offered at the Cavalry School at Velika
Kikinda for commissioned and noncommissioned officer candidates of the cavalry
the following courses are given at the school-.
a. -A staff level course for active commissioned officers. The duration of
this course is twelve months and the training is identical for officers
of all ranks. Each class is composed of some 30 officers.
b. A staff-level course for cavalry artillery officers,, the duration of which
is three months. This course, which is offered at unspecified times is
also attended by field artillery officers.
o . A three-month staff-le rel course z, which generally has an enrollment of
;30 mega is offered for reserve officers.
d. Frequent courses of three monthsl durationr are given for noncommissioned
officers. Each class generally has an enrollment of !lO noncommissioned
officers.
A twelve-month course is offered for reserve noncommissioned officers.
This course is attended by Communist reserve noncommissioned officers
whc, upon successful completion of this course, are given the rank of
master sergeant. In the event these men are recalled into active
military service they are given the rank of warrant officer. Some 80
noncommissioned officers attend this course.

A highly specialized course in equitation is offered at the Cavalry School
at Velika Kikinda. The enrollment in this course is ten officers. These
officers undergo strenuous training in horsemanship in preparation for
national and international. riding competitions. The following individuals
