1. On 28 November 19519 the Sofia train ferry., dockin om Giur u9 Rumania.,
carried six tank and two refrigerator cars. a total of 25X1
approximately 75 tank ears on the sidings between the winter harbor and the
oil refinery.1

1. Transformer station.
2. Oil refinery in two parts., each approximately 500 yards east/west x
100 yards north/south and both apparently working. Western half
contains a farm of at least three (relatively small)tanks and what
appears to be a continuous distillation unit. Eastern half contains
at least four similar tars and also apparently a continuous distilla-
tion unit.
3. Small jetty with cradle line leading to No. 5-
4. Earthenware factory.
5. Sugar beet factory; much of the beets arrive by Danube barges No. 3.
6. Three hangars/warehouses on Rumanian banks served by a total of four
jib cranes.
7. Three storage tanks.
1. Comments This is the heaviest concentration of tank cars ever
observed in lgaria,.
