THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
there was located in Alexandria (Teleorman) a
Training School for Air Pilots. This school was changed in October
1951 into a Training School for Militia.
2. There follows a list of current railroad fares: 35 lei for third
class fare between Braila and Constanta; 30 lei for third class fare
between Bucharest and Constanta; 16 lei for third class fare on a local
train between Pitesti and Bucharest; 181 lei for third class fare on
an express train between Pitesti and Bucharest; and 21 lei for third
class fare on a non-stop express train between Pitesti and Bucharest.
3. from various residents of Braila that the Government
planned to evacuate former military officers, property owners and
wealthy persons from. Bucharest, Ploesti, Stalin, Timisoara, Braila
and two other important centers to regions which were considered '.'safe
and of no military importance".
