1 A report daterT 19 November 1951 from the office of the State Secretary for
(Therloals and Minerals (Stactrsolcratariat Chemie, Stain.? urd Erd'ar) con-
tains the following information on linThlfilled production quotas:

a. The production .quota for calcined soda for 1951 was established at
J-47,000 tons. For the period 1 January to 31 October 1951 the pro-
duotion quota amounOed to 1.'7455 tons. Actually produced in this
period were only 90 tons, or 82%.
b, 'Joda plant I at Stassfurt has fulfilled 96,81 of the allotted quota The
soda plant at Buchmau produoed only 83% of the quota. The newly con-
structed soda plant IT at Stassfurt has been allotted a production
quota for thi=, second quarter of 1951 and up to 31 October 1951 of
14,00 tons. Prodoction has beer only 4,185 tons, or 28%.
