1. On 21 February 1952, only a few military personnel and about 10 motor vehicles
were seen in the yards of the barracks installations vest of Schiesstattring?
St, Poen= (0 49/1 63). A low wooden barracks building had been erected on
the site where formerly amphibious cars had been placed on blocks. ro

coert). (1) Truck was seen towing jeep' 'from the former 25X1C
Gorman field hospital on Corvinusstrasse? where several nurses an soldiers
wearing red-bordered black epaulets were observed. A T-34 tank mcunting a rod
antenna fired its machine e,ua while ntanding and in motion on the road bed of
the projected autobahn south of C;ans Sprateern. The firing practice was
directed by an officer who was stationed at a radiotelephone near the two
obvervation towers on the road bed, Io changes were observed at Camp Spratzerre
Jeeps and trucks all of them 25X1C
occupied by soldiers with red-bordered black epaulets, were identified. (2)
2, On 20 February, the Biraeo Kaserne in Valk (0 49/1 68) was guarded by sentries
who wore red-bordered bleak epaulets. Only a few soldiers who wore red-
bordered black epaeleto and cleared away snow were seen at the installation.

45 soldiers without rifles were enea;ed in close-order drill in the yard. Six

50 soldiers wearing red-berored black epaulets and parkas practiced the pene-
tration of field positions. Practice targets in the woods oast of the insane

h. Soviet personnel s on entering and leaving the Soviet hospital in Anstetten
(0 49/4 27) included 5 medf.cal officers and female physicians, 3 field grade
0L.Icers and 7 men who wore red-borderod black epaulets and black-bordered red
epeulets.
