1. The following fortifications are maintained along the Baltic Coast:*
Remo Six 125 mm. electrically operated guns a field RSBF wireless
unit and a range finder have been installed in Redlowo on the Polish
Coast.* An unspecified unit of the Polish Naval Coast Artillery,, com-
manded by Lieutenant Commander Rychel (fnu), a Pole, is stationed her.
The deputy commander and political education officer of this unit is
Captain Beldegren (fnu), a Jew, from the Soviet Army and an ardent
Communist.
Orlowo. One battery with 135 mm. guns, a range finder and radar
equipment are located in Orlowo.
Hel. Two or three batteries and a temporary range finder are located in
Hel. Large dumps of mines and torpedos are located at the naval port of
Hel. The entire cape of the peninsula of He] from Jurata is occupied by
troops and is surrounded with barbed wire, with the exception of the port
of Hel itself. An unspecified number of pursuit ships (scigacze) and
landing craft (lodzie desantowe) are in the port. During the first

largest range finder on the coast is now under construction here.

magazines for the Polish Navy are located in Oksywie. The arms come from
Russia and are distributed to various units.

1 -1 Comment: Construction of coast artillery batteries has
been fairly constantly pursued along the entire coast, A site is
also at Utska (54? 35'N 16? 51' E) among others.
25X1 Comment: the RSBF wireless unit 25X1
has a range of 2,000 kilometers; with the use of a microphone, a range
of 1,000 kilometers.
