THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
On 1 March 1952, an armored division and a mechanized division;af the
1 Army Corps (sic), Soviet Far East Military Diet ict,.moved from
Eastern Siberia to the Yenchi (129-31, 42-55) area. The strength
of the armored division was 10,000 men, !equipped with T-34, T-38 (sic'),
and MT-21 (sic) tanks.
I Comment. Soviet order of-battle given above does not agree
with any information available to this office;,

THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1. During late March 1952, there were only 100 troops in each company of
the 28 Army; 1 crack troops, heroes, and model companies of this army
had all been transferred to North Korea. Each company was equipped with
6 light machine guns and 2 x 60 mm mortars.
2J In late March 1952, one division of armored troops equipped with.100
tanks, including 30 amphibious tanks, was stationed at Hoshan
Amoy. These troops drilled daily from-5 a.m. to 8 a.m. and from 4 p.m.
to 6 p.m. at Hoshan Airfield.
3.' In late January 1952, a total of 100 tanks and armored cars participated
in a pare.dEe through Amoy. These tanks and armored cars were stationed
in caves at Hut?oushan (u $ LAS), Yuntingyen and

1. Comment. Presumably means those in Fukien. According to'
available information, 120 troops is the normal company complement.

the Kwangtung Military District coTmanded by MA Ch'uan-li (,%-))I I ),
a native of Hupeh, moved to ~Whong (Ch'uchiang - 113-33, 24-50). This
battalion was equipped with 3 bazookas, 3x75 mm guns, and 4 anti-
air-e' 'aft machine guns,
