From 10 to 20 March 1952 activities of the North Kiangsu Air Base Command were
as follows:
1. On,10 March, there was no activity.
2. On 11 March, one fighter plane practiced flyiag-at T'aichou (119-55, 32-29) from
1O!:10 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.
3. On 1210 March, one fighter plane practiced. flying at T'aichou from 1:00 p.m.
p.m., and one'trainer practiced flying at T(aichou from 3:00 P.M.
to 3:40 P.M.
4. On 13 March, one fighter plane left T'aichou for Nant'ung (120-52, 33-46) at
11:00 a.m. and returned at 4:50 p.m. One trainer practiced flying at
T'aichou from 11:10 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
5. On 14 March, there was no activity.
6. On 15 March, one reconnaissance plane made a reconnaissance flight from
T'aichou over an unspecified area from 2:10 p.m*. to 3:15 p.m.
7. On 16 March, one transport plane carrying airplane engines and other spare

parts arrived at T'aiehou at 1:10 p.m. from Nanking. This plane left
T4aichou for Nanking at 3:18 p.m. CHEN Chang~?chung ?, a mechanic who was
arrested as the person responsible for a faulty engine hoist being used
was tried in Nanking and sentenced to
twelve years imprisonment. The sentence is awaiting ratification by the
Central Air Force Headquarters.

reconnaissance planes left TEaichou at 10:00 a.m. on a reconnaissance
flight over Kaoyuhu (119- , 32. )and returned at 12:00 noon. One
trainer practiced flying at Tsaichou from 10:10 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.
9. On 18 and 19 March, there was no activity.
10. On 20 March, two fighter planes practiced flying at T - aichou from
9:40 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.
