In February 1952,, SAG Marten.,, Het.tsted` re ea ved an inoui ?~
from the Lauchhammer coke works about the ;possibility of
producing. thermocouples designed to measure temperature
eIextrically. Lauchhammer needs the instruments for its
planned production of hard coke from lip 'tP
Hettstedt replied that., although it had never produced
therrrio ouples,, it would be able to do so. On the other
Hand, the works pointed out that it was so burdened wit 'h
high priority orders that it would hardly be able to take
on the Lauchhammer order,
3., The Hettstedt, works has now been requested by the DDR
I4inistry for Light Industry to comply with the Lauchhammer
_Yr'der,
4., The problem has been brought; to the attention of the :Soviet
authorities for a final. decision.
