I. For the time being there are only six jet fighters at the airport. Air activity
was observed only for 2 hours in misty weather on. 9 arid. 12 aTanuar.y.
2. At-1700, 13001 and 1600 hrs. daily, two trucks drive to the railway station
to bring fliers (officers and enlisted men) to the trains; troops are detrained
in the evening from the train at 2214.0 hrs. from Neuruppi-n. The soldiers who
are brought to the 1303 train to Kirov are exclusively officers from lieutenants
to captains inclusive., all with shoulder loops woven with silver thread. These
go to Rechlin.
3. The construction of 4 gasoline tanks at the airport is finished.

7. Excavation work and removal of stones from the railway stations was started
on 2 January. The road construction jobs are progressing.

8. No gasoline shipments have arrived yet. The electrical light system around the
.depot's enclosure has been completed.

In the spring of 1952 a new airfield is to be built, about six kilomet

It was observed that twelve.jetfighters were located at the runway and
an undetermined number of jetfighters are located in the two most east
hangars. Six machines flew three at a time from about 1000 hours to a
1300 hours.. Each flight lasted about 20 minutes. During this time it
cloudy but the visibility was good.

.On the night of 13 January about 300 men flying personnel, as determined from
their jetfighter emblems, arrived by railway at the airport. These probably
came from Rechlin.
