Nanning to Wuming to equip an armored corps being trained there. At that time 25X1 about 1,800 to 2,000 men were udder training for this armored corps. 2. On 19 December the Chinese Communists shipped 27 boxes of heavy artillery pieces via the Canton-Shench'uan railway to'Shenchsuan.. On the morning of 20 25X1 December these artillery pieces were shipped on to antEou (113-56, 22-31). they were to be forwarded to the artillery units on. the Wanshan Islands. On 20 December the Kwangtung Military District Command received an order from the Central and South China Military Area Command to turn over to the 13-Army Group, in Kwangsi under CHE1i Man--yuai, the followifig ammunition; 5,000 shells for 60 mm mortars 500,000 rounds of ammunition for the 791 rifle 5,000 hand grenades This ammunition was shipped to Kwangsi ox 10 junks sailing between Canton and Wuchou (111-19, 23-28), which had been commandeered by the South China Rear Service Command. 1. ?Comment.
