THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1.. fiwenty-four Soviet M.LG 15s were seen at Rerik an 17 March 1952. Fiore o
these machines were observed an the next day over the Rostock city area.
2. Oo. 18 March 1952, 53 Soviet airplanes were counted at Ri'bnitz=Damgarten~
'These were mostly het fighters and old reconnaissance planes. Many Planes
came on these two days from Bindex~sleben near Erfurt.
The installations. at Ilamgarten have been enlarged by about two-thirds.
Four large buildings hsve been erected for workshops and offices. Soviet
soldiers and ~olkspolizei are trained here as Pilots, Five planes were
smashed in one day recently because the runway is taa shaxt. About two.
thousand men of the Soviet Navy were landed here on 12 and 13 March 1952.
Part of them have since- departed for Barth.
