Heinrich Rau, who was relieved on 9 May 1952 as chief of the Fast German State Planning Commission,, will assume the post of defense minister; the date for this appointment has not- yet been determined, but depends on the decision as to a public announcement. 2. Bruno Leuschner, now Rau's deputy, will probably become head of the Planning Commission. - - - STATE# ARMY F Erwin Kerber, now chief of the State. Secretariat for Material Procurement, will become head of the BUro f' r Wirtsehaftefragen (supply agency for the paramilitary police) in place of Willi Stoph, who has succeeded Karl Steinhoff as Minister of the Interior.
