THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1. The former airfield at Delitzsch was dismantled and blown up in 1945 by
Soviet troops. Its reconstruction is now being hurried. Several million
marks have been made available for the rebuilding plan.
2. A large Soviet airfield is under construction in the vicinity of the village
of Muehlbeck, near Bitterfeld. The work is already so far along that the
field can soon, be used. Starting and landing runways suitable for all types
of airplanes are nearly completed. However, the direction-finding tower
about 40 meters high, has not yet been-completed.
