CHU Tun-span is a member of the CPP CC and a member of the Committee of People's Supervision. In 1947 he was reported to be one of the founders and organizers of the China Democratic Peace Movement League in Hong Kong. HTUANG Yennpsei is a member of the Standing Commit-tee of the C?PCC, the Government Council, the Government Administration Council, the Committee of Finance and -Economics, and is the Minister of Light Industries. As a member of the Political Consultative Conference (P00) he performed various functions for the Kuomintang, including a trip to Yenan in the hope of bringing the Chinese Communist Party members to the PCC. At one time he was to be appointed as general manager of the People's Bank, and in December 1949 was reported to be the head of the Banker Group of the Democratic Reconstruction Association. MA Hsu4lun is a member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC2 the Government Council, the Government Administration Council, a vice chair- man of the Committee of Culture and Education, and is the Minister of Education. He is known to have been a leader in the Chinese Democracy Promotion Society, a forme professor of philosophy at Chekiang University and at Peiping University. In 1946 he was reported as editor of the magazine Democracy. I he was reported to be connected with the All China Education Workers' Association. WANG Shao..ao is a Vice Minister of Finance. He has been reported to be a native of Soochow, educated in Japan, and to have been living on loans from friends for 35 rears. Having been imprisoned by the Kuomintang for about a year, he was accepted by the Chinese Communists, CHANG Po-chun is a member of the Standing Commmmittee.of the CPPCC, the Government Council, the Government Administration Council, the Committee of Finance and Economics, and is the Minist* of Communications. Ile was the chief leader of the Third Party, the left wing of the Democratic League. With HUANG Yen. p' ei he went to Yenan to try to bring the Chinese Communist Party members to the PCC0 In 1918 he was reported to be Chairman of the Farmers and Laborers Democratic Party of the Peace Democratic League in Hong. Kong. CH' EN Ch' i-.yu is a member of the C?PCC and the Kwangtung Government Council. In 19149 he was reported to be Chairman of the.Chih Kung Tang, and has been mentioned in connection with overseas Chinese groups. HUANG Tingmch? en has been known as an important supporter of the Chih Kung Tang since 19147. HSUT Te.-heng is a member of the CP..')CC, the Committee of Political and Legal Affairs, and the Commission of Law in the Ministry of Juetice. At the end of the war he was a member of the Hopei-Chahar-Jehol- Suiyuan section of a 'CC commission. I he was reported to be head of the Chiu San Society, and it was stated that he had been recruited for a three months training period. HUANG Kuomchang was at one time the head of the City Planning Section of the Central Planning Bureau, and a member of a Southern Fukien special committee. In 1950 he was reported to be deputy chief of the organization department and a commissioner in the Fukien Provincial Commnittee. Comment.
