I. The Soviet Control Corunission has placed an order with the
Waggonhau Cbrlitz plant of `V?B T.LOlWp,. for the construction of
approximately 14000 railroad flatcars of the six-axle type
to transport tanks, Construction, however, has not as yet
been fill; undertaken because of administrative difficulties
within VVB LORI;.,
2. Seven flatcars of the type orcered have been recently com-
pleted_* These seven cars, however, were reportedly not
constructed with steel of the correct type..-`-V They we: e
turned over to the DDi` Reichsbahndirektion for further
testing,,wh:ich is currently being undertaken, although the
.eichsbahn refused to sign the acceptance certificate in
view of the faul_tY steel construction.
