On 21 April 1952, the barracks installations in Cottbus (r' 52/A 57) tiaere vacant except for the Merinann-Loen. Kaserne on Eermann-Troensstrassen There were only rear details in these installations. About 200 troops, 4 JS-1 tanks, 3 T_,3t tanks and I x 25--m lijht AA guns were observed in the ferrnann Toens icaserne. No motor vehicular traffic was noticed on Cottbus.
