The Nozarowa Movement requires that every worker keep his machine in good
condition, to clean At and to repair it, if necessary. However, as the
second shift begins work immediately after the previous shift has finished,,
cleaning and repair work can only be done in the morning hours before work
begins. Every worker has an exployment book in which his output and his
conduct are recorded. Workers can only change or leave their working place
if the change Ls approved by the Works Council. Workers who leave without
permission are brought back forcibly or sent to a labor camp. Workers who
are late by even one minute are fined. For a third offense, they are
shed by the cancelling of leave-

siding. The factory began work in 1951 and employs more than 5,000 workers

train was to be delivered to the Russians. The Jendrashik.trains have
diesel engines and. modern equipment. As the result of sabotage, the whole
train, both engine and. cars, was severely damaged. The blue morocco
leather upholstery was hanging in tatters and the mahogany panelling was
completely r u:i nF:d.
A power station. Is under construction on the shore of the river Tisza at
Tie alt k. ' he prisoners employed on this project live in an underground
concentration ca:snpj some two km. from Ti.aZalt k. They are guarded. by AVii
men, who arrest everyone approaching the camp, which covers about 100
hectares. Groups of 15 prisoners are guarded by one AVH man, who is armed
with an .au.toma:t. is rifle and who is accompanied by a bloodhound. There are
1,200 prisoners in the camp (most of them are opponents of the regime who
tried to escape from Hungary), includiisg 8 miners who have been found
guilty of sabotage.,
