On 22 May, baggage and billeting equipment were 1oaaed on two trucks at Camp Zossen. A signal unit of about 2,000 men allegedly left the camp during the night of 22 May. One troop train departed from Wildpark for Zossen on 27 Mays During the night of 27 May, many columns of trucks furnished by the G('G motor transport units from Wuensdorf passed the Lange 3ruecke in Potsdam in a southwesterly direction. The trucks carried billeting equipment. At noon on 28 May, the Garde du Corps ffaserne was vacant, and new billeting equipment was hauled to the installation. Local residents believe that the' installation is to be occupied by Yolkspolizei. On 25 May, the largest rooms in Zepernick, southwest of Bernau, were requisitioned by Soviet detach- ments. On 22 and 23 May, the officers of the officersy school left the Hindenburg Kaserne at Wuensdorf'. The instructors and officer candidates were allegedly. transferred to Potsdam-Bornstedt for one year. Elements stationed at Karlshorst are scheduled to reoccupy the installation. One hundred soldiers wearing black-bordered crimson epaulets have already arrived there. A motor transport unit stationed at the Cambrai raserne had moved to the Jueterbog area by 28 May. At that time the barracks were again occupied to capacity, allegedly by infantry units from Krampnitz. On 26 and 27 May, units stationed in the Lutz Kaserne allegedly moved to the Lindau area, southeast of Magdeburg. The Lutz Kaserne was occupied by units previously stationed at Camp Zossen, while the latter wa-~ scheduled to be occupied by Volkspolizei. The occupation of the Pan.zertruppei;.
