the lives. of several participant-9,
C?a .eat. It is of possible significance to note that provincial
-mom o rs ofthe 9udeh took part in the Tehran dpnionstr. a.tion.. This is the
first such instance that has been reported., except for demonstrations
in which participants have come from villages near Tehran. It is
possible that the Party Felt the need of giving certain provincial
members demonstration practice or riot baptism by way of training.
Special, significance is attachced to this thesis in view of reports that
the Tudeil planned provincial as well as Tehran demonstrations on
May Day.
