On 1 May 1952 the Ministry of Heavy Industry's First Textile Machine Factory.,
t lso designated Ching Wei (4842/4885) Textile Machine Factors began partial
operation in T9aiyuan (112-30., 37-42)a This factory had been established in
Shanghai originally., but-in the summer of 1951 when plans for its expansion
Were under consideration., the Chinese Communists decided to move it to a
place where raw materials would be available more readily.,-and the move to
.yuan was made in the winter of 1951-1952.
