There is a wolfram mine at Tinh Tae (105-51; 22-39), 46 kilometers from C.ao Ba. (106-15; 22-40) .. There are more than, 10*000 miners working at Tinh Tue, most.of whom are local inhabitants a Each month, three or four convoys con- sisting of '(0 to 80 0 or Molotova .trucks transport the wolfram ore to China. 2 a At Cam Duong. (104.41; 22-24),-five kilometers southeast of Lao Kay (103-58; 22-30), approximately 10,000 miners are extracting "tritrate de phosphors" (sic)o Moot cif the miners are inhabitants of the mountains. Ore from this .mine is shipped by river to Phu Doan (105-12; 21-37) via Phu Yen Binh (104.58; 21-48) and is then transferred to Chinese trucks for transport to China. Both of the above mines are being exploited .by Chinese Communist engineers and the Chinese Communists pay all expe*es.
