4. On 24 April at 1700 hrs., a train drove through Stendal from the direction
of Wittenberg in the direction of Ma debur 4 Ten tanks were com letely
covered with canvas The
unloading probably took place in Wo rs e .
5. During the time from 15 to 25 April the training grounds at Letzlinger Heide
were again occupied. During this time, many troop movements were observed going
to and from Magdeburg.
6. Neustrelitz Railway Station-. There were about 70 empty cars at the railway
station. A connecting track is being built from the railway station to the
training grounds on the road to Mirow. One hundred and forty workers and
40 women are at the present employed in excavation work.
Schwerin.- On 24 April at about 1730 hrs. three express cars arrived with
the Wismar-Schwerin train from the direction of Rostock. These three cars were
occupied by young Russian soldiers. It was not noticed when they left Schwerin.
The soldiers had red shoulder loops.
