The Central Military Bread Supply Center in Bucharest is located on Calea
Plevnei9 behind the central railway station (Cara de Nord). This center
7;pplee bread to all. Rumanian military units stationed in the Bucharest

area., including Militia and Security forces. j
2a The Central Bread Supply Center is equipped with 30 ovens producing daily
a total of 80,000 double loaves of dark bread of 1,400 grams each for the
oxolusiv'e use of the Communist "cadre personnel" in civilian Government
serviced. The Center operates its own flour mill and produces daily 80,000
kilograms of flour.
3. The Central Bread Supply Center employs 485 workers recruited from among
young men of unreliable political background. The food of these workers
consists of 50 grams of-marmalade and a coffee substitute in the morning,
two vegetables at lunch, and two vegetables.in the evening. In addition
they are rationed 750 grams of bread daily. On Thursdays and Sundays meat
portions are served. The workers are given discarded army uniforms to
war at work.
