1. On 20 May 1952, North'Koreai Ministry of Industry Mine.NuMber 92 near Kigong-
myon (127-29, 40-02) (CV-7132) employed 870 men and 250 women and produced an
average of 2 tons of gold ore, 3 tons of copper ore, 4 tons Qf silver ore, and
5 tons. of zinc ore daily. The mine area approximated 760. a Mine officials
included YI Ik-ho (2621/4135/3185), director; PAK Sung-kwan 2613/211.0/1401),
deputy director; KIM Sung-chae (6855/2573/6528), head of the administration
section; HWANG Hyo-son (7806/1321/1327), head of the materials section; CHONG
Ki-t'aek (6774/1015/3419), head of the transportation sectional CHE Chong-
hwa (1508/6988/5478), head of the labor section; and 0 Tong-sop (002/2639/
3610), head of the mining section.
On 20 May, Ministry of Industry Mine Number 95 near Unhung-r~gron (128-14, 11.1-19)
(DP 4 employed 900. men and 280 women and produced an average of 2 1/2 tons
of gold ore, 3 1/2 tons of silver ore, and 8 tons of iron-sulphide ore daily,
The mine area approximated 783 acres. Mine officials included SIN Sang-ho

3294), head of the mobilization section; YI Mun-s6p (2621/2429/3610), head of
the mining section; and KIN 0-hycn (2938/0063/6881), head of the labor section.
4. On 17 May 1952, North Korean Ministry of Industry Mine Number 102 at Song-
myon (126-03, 40-28) (BV-5083) employed 870 men and 120 women and produced
an average of 6 tons of gold ore and 8 tons of silver ore daily. The mine
area approximated 813 acres. Mine officials included O11 NG Mun-sop
(6774/2429/3610), director; Yl Yun-ch'ang (2621/0336/2490), deputy director;
MUN Ki-ho (2429/1015/6964), head, of the administration section; KIM Py6ng-
ch'61 (6855/3521/0811), head of the materials section; NO Hui4-ch. e (14151/3556/
0961), head of the labor section; Y1M tang-sun (2651/2019/8642), head of the
technical,section; and HAN Tok-su (7281/1795/3178), head of the mining section.
5. On 17 May, Ministry of Industry Mine Number l0 at Ihyan-myon (185-05, 39-52)
(XE-7815) employed 530 men and 180 women and produced an average of 4 tons of
gold ore and 6 tgns of silver ore daily. The mine area approximated 481 acres.
Mine officials included HONG To-ik (3163/6670/4135), director; KANG Sung-p'il
(1203/2110/3125), deputy director; 0 Han-yang (0702/3352/3144), head of the

gold ore and 10 tons of silver ore daily. The mine area approximated 826 acres.
