1. On 12 January 1952 approximately 200 fully=-armed Soviet soldiers disembarked
from three steel boats at Songjin and went off in a northwest direction..
This unit was equipped with about 20 anti-aircraft guns, Residents of the
area stated that the Soviet unit came to North Korea laecause Chinese Communist
axid North Korean soldiers were not able to destroy United Nations aircraft.
2,. In early June elements of-an unknown Soviet anti-aircraft artillery tinit,
numbering 100 men, equipped with 11 x 107-mm. anti-aircraft guns, 1+b Soviet
cars, and.l radar set were quartered in the Sinuiju medical school.
30. On 1 June an unknown Soviet medical unit of 20 officers and 10 North Korean
nurses was quartered in the vicinity of Oryu-ri (125-39, 39-01) (YD-2922)>
