about 1,60u ra3en, in tie former Fr~~,ncis Joseph barracks. In the Remnnta barracks
is a cavalry company. In the AA barracks is an AA unit. Most of the buildings
are being used as depots; the gun garages are now automi~bile garages, but because
of insufficient doom there, about fifty 5-ton trucks park in the yard. In the
barracks, opposite the Catholic Church, there is a I-Iungarian motorized artillery
unit. The engineer officer school. is in the former barracks of the technical
troops. Selected non-commissioned officers from the troops `are sent there; they
spend six months in the school. There are courses for engineers, miners,
pontooneers, and radio-telegraphists. After six months the best students attain
the rank of sub-lieutenant, the. others that of technical sergeant. The latter
-will be sent to another school after the completion cif this course.

south-southeast of Baja. There is a motorized security battalion of the AVH in
