1. The 2 Serbian Proletarian Regiment is stationed in Prilep. The commander is
Colonel Trisha Veselinovic who, before the advent of the Tito regime, spent
some time in prison at Gornji Milanovac. The political commissar of the regiment
is Lieutenant Colonel Radenko Martic. The regiment is composed of three battalions.
The commander of the first battalion is Miodrag Soldovicl, the commander of the
second battalion is Lubinko Vukasinovic, and the commander of the third battalion
is Niko Preljie. The political commissar of the regiment is Captain Rankavic (fnu),
who is related to Aleksandar Ran.kovic, the Minister of the Interior.
2. The staff of the 52 Infantry Division has been dissolved.
3. An infantry regiment of the 29 Division is stationed in Titograd. The commander
is Colonel Truta (fnu).
4. Near the village of Slivnica, about 10 kilometers from Maribor, on the Maribor-
Celje highway, a large new airfield is under construction. The airfield is about
three kilometers long and is being readied for jet fighters. Construction work
is nearly finished. The airfield will be equipped with all modern instruments.
