THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1, According'to'the--latest estimates;-the-total wheat harvest will amount to
7* to 8 hundredweight (Metei?sentner) per cadastral yoke, or 2 million tons,
in comparison'-to_last year_"s'-harvest of-2,600,000 tons. However, the quality
of the grain supposed to. be superior this year.
2. Rye was harvested at 5__t6 6'hundredweight (Meterzentner) per cadastral yoke,
- The total harvest-- is Drily` X00,000 tons, in comparison of 750,000 tons last year.
The quality of rye this year is only mediocre.
3. Because of:-shortage'bf'.stors.ge space, Agrimpex has urgently been instructed
to find marketAfor 308000 tons of rye of the 1951 harvest.
4. Even if rain i shou] d-' be--plentiful before the fall of 1952, the quantity of corn
to be harvested will be. way below the average. Crop failure is indicated for
barley as well.
