An infantry unit: of approximately 600 men is located in Nevrokop. The men are
quartered in. new barracks at the northwest end of Nevrokop on the road to Sveti

"iese trenches start 200 meters south of town and run two kilometers east and

A .J.00.,mar.; 'rud,!vak unit, stationed in Ognenovo (N1136 E23148), is working on
the crastructiun of underground bunkers approximately one kilometer north of
Marctevo N -13' F.r2314-8 , Nevrokop District, just east of the catina River. In-
f..rmant saw five bunkers at this location but could give no details concerning
r:hem.
Ynfcrmant estimates that approximately 1.,000 Trudovaks are employed on various
for'if,]'.cat;i m projects in the Nevrokop area.
The headquarters cf a Border Guard unit of approximately 300 men is located in
Nevrok' ,p. The men are quartered in ,a house in the northeast part of town, tm
the :"evrukop-Ra:zlc;g road. The barracks building, which is also headquarters,
was previously owned by Iiiya Slavkov, a former deputy of the Agrarian Party
who is living in : uevr. okop-
die Mi.:l itia unit in Nevrokop is composed of approximately 150 men. The former
commanding officer, First Lieutenant Lulov, was recently transferred; deputy
commander :is Second Lieutenant Mikhail Mis.hev. Sergeant Stoyan Zubbhev, born
in K;?vachevitsa, is assigned to the Militia unit in Nevrokop in an -unknown
capacity.
