occupied, by a mo~Oreycle unit consisting of about 300 men. The group left

In the village of" IrAadk (N 64), in the former Youth Home, there is the headquarters
-of a regiment of Soviet.jntantry and also of a battalion. Heavy and medium
mortars have been seen here,, as well as 45 mm.. anti-aircraft guns, dravn by horse t
Small units of this regiment are quartered in Pabi (about 31 km, southwest of
Kecskemet), Orgoviny (N. 73) and Meierhofen One half of an infantry battalion
is stationed in Szaba603iA (N 55) and the-other half in I I.6pazAllts(N 54.).'.TOtel

Another Soviet infantry battalion is stationed in part to La smizse (N 86) and
in Kerekegyhdsa (N 75) total strength of the battalion. is about ',00 me no

headquarters of a group of 'Stalin organ's rocket launchers is stationed. Some
units of this headquarters are also located in farmhouses in 0 Xte.ske(about 2.5 km.

consists of 3 companied~ each company has 9 rocket launchers of the M..13 type,
mounted on trucks with 3 aXles, with a capacity of 5 tans. This group consists

Another infantry regiment is stationed in the village of OibakhLza (0 35)j one
battalion is stationed in Tissfaldv r (0 35) one battalion in Ysiaea .nok?*, (0 24)ji
and a third battalion in Nagy Ocsod. The total wtrength of this regiment is
about 2 ,000 men,
An assault grin, group belonging to an armored division is stationed in Nagykkr8a
(0 06), in the new barracks along thq provincial highway between Kecskemet and
Nagyk8rds. This group is equipped with 20 SU?152 and 10 StY-122; and there are
about 500 men.
10. The Tft-tell Street Barracks is at present occupied by the headquarters of a
Soviet artillery regiment and by a group consisting of 3 batteries :each battery
has four 152 mm. grans; Total strength is about 600 men. One group of this
regiment is stationed in the village of Cegledbercel (N 98) aad another in the
village of Jiszka-rejen8 (0 E6). Both of them are equipped with 152.. and 122. mma
guns,
11. Since 10 Jane 1952, there are also Soviet units stationed at the Keeskemet airfield.
These have about 30 Maki planes, 6 searchlights, 1 AA battery with ?oour"8 "age. ?7
guns and twelve 37 mm. automatic weapons, about 60 trucks
